USRO Conference “Urgent Issues of Radiation Oncology in Ukraine” (June 30-July 1, 2011, Ivano-Frankivsk)

Radiology and oncology specialists are invited to take part in the work of the conference of Ukrainian Society of Radiation Oncologists “Urgent Issues of Radiation Therapy in Ukraine” , which is to be held on June 30-July 1, 2011 in Ivano-Frankivsk.

 The scientific program of the conference includes the following questions:

1. Improvement of pre-irradiation preparation and planning radiation therapy/
2. Application of up-to-date techniques to assessment of the tumor response to radiation and chemoradiation therapy.
3. Patients safety and radiation therapy quality assurance.
4. Disputable questions of the existing standards of radiation therapy for malignant tumors.

Deadline for abstract submission is April 1, 2011. The manuscripts not exceeding 6 pages should be submitted as two paper copies and in electronic form (CD/DVD disks, Word format, Times New Roman 14) together with a cover letter and the act of expertise, brief  summary in Russian (not exceeding 320 words) and key words (up to 7). The articles will be published in Ukrainian Journal of Radiology included to the list of special publications of Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine.

The articles will be published in the Ukrainian Journal of Radiology. The price of each publication is 150 hryvnas per article.

 The articles and the receipts about the payment for publication should be sent to Olena Kononenko, Grigoriev's Institute for Medical Radiology, vul. Pushkinska 82, Kharkiv, 61024, Ukraine.
