INFORMATIONAL LETTER № 1

of the scientific conference with the international participation, dedicated to the Science Day, «Contribution of young professionals to the development of medical science and practice: NEW PERSPECTIVES»

We are proud to announce the annual scientific conference of young scientists with the international participation, dedicated to the Day of Science in Ukraine. The conference will be organized on 15th of May, 2015 by Grigoriev Institute for medical Radiology, NAMS of Ukraine together with L.T. Malaya National Therapy Institute, NAMS of Ukraine. The leading topic of conference is prophylaxis of the non-infectious disease in different branched of medicine.

These conference is opened to all qualified young scientists and professionals under the age of 40, who are actively involved in basic and applied research in various fields of modern medicine: internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, oncology, oncogynecology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, neurology and psychiatry, dermatology, venereology, orthopedics and traumatology, pediatrics, infectious diseases and microbiology, endocrinology, otolaryngology, dentistry, clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy, pathophysiology, pathomorphology .

The conference program includes the educating lecture «Recommendations on the preparation of scientific papers», which will be conducted by senior researcher, Ph.D. V.A. Vinnikov.

 

Type of participation in conference: with oral presentation and abstact publication, poster presentation and abstract publication, and abstract publication. Conference languages - Ukrainian , Russian and English.

In order to apply for conference you should fill in the proposed registration form and send it together with your abstracts by e-mail to: molodi.vcheni@yandex.ua . All papers should be sent until the 1st of April 2015. After submition of your papers you are recommended to ensure that they were received by us (per mobil or e-mail confirmation).

There is no fee for participation in conference with oral or poster presentation.

In case of passive participation (only by abstract submission) you should pay the registration fee 100 UAH. The account is 2600201681207 in Ukreximbank, Kharkiv, МФО 351618, ОКПО 22684252, name – Kharkov regional anticancer foundation, the purpose – participation in conference. The payment submission should be scanned and sent by e-mail together with registration form.

Requirements for published work (abstract)

  1. Submitted abstracts should contain only original material, which were not published or submitted elsewhere earlier.
  2. One author can have only one abstracts or two abstracts in collaboration.
  3. Structure of the abstract is required to include the purpose and objectives of the study, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
  4. All abbreviations (except units of measurement) can be used only after mentioning of the full term.
  5. Abstract text capacity is limited up to 1 page.
  6. Abstract should be printed in MS Word, A4 with margins on all sides 25 mm, Times New Roman, font size 14, normal, line spacing - one space .

The structure of the abstract: abstract title is in capital letters, authors’ names and initials and full title of the institution is in italic, and then the abstracts’ text.

WARNING! The Committee reserves the right to refuse the publication if the submitted abstract do not meet the given requirements. In this case the author will be notified. The author is responsible for the abstract content. Abstracts are published without editioкі correction!

 

Requirements for oral presentation:

  1. Oral presentation must not exceed 7 minutes. Multimedia support will be provided.
  2. Discussion time is up to 7 minutes.

WARNING! Authors, selected by committee for the oral presentation, will be informed and receive the invitation by the 22nd of April , 2015.

 

Requirements for the poster:

  1. Poster should not exceed 100x150 cm.
  2. Poster structure should have research purpose and objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions.
  3. All abbreviations (except units of measurement) can be used only after mentioning of the full term.
  4. Title: the first line (or several lines if needed) – abstract title in capital letters, the second – authors’ surname(s) with initials, the third line – the full title of the institution, the fourth line – department’s name; the fifth line – head’s of the department surname with initials, the sixth line – scientific supervisor’s surname with initials and then text of the presentation .
  5. Poster can contain illustrations.
  6. Text font should be at least 20 pt.
  7. Poster should be mounted in the lobby of  conference room.

 

The conference program includes the competition for the best oral and poster presentation. The nominees will be awarded with souvenirs and recognition gifts.

Transportation, accommodation and meals are not covered by the Organizning Commetee. The Organinzing Committee will assist the reservation at Kharkiv hotels on request.
