The Ukrainian Society of Radiation Oncologists invites you to take part in scientific and practical conference “Current issues in Radiation and Combined Treatment of Cancer and Prevention of Complications”, which is to be held in Kharkiv on May 21-22, 2012

The topics of the conference cover the following questions:
- Current state and problems of radiological service for Ukrainian population
- Development of the Quality Assurance system in radiotherapy for optimization of radiation of doses in patients
- Radiochemotherapy of cancer
- Supporting and supplementary therapy in radiation oncology. Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complications of radiotherapy and combined therapy
- Radiation diagnostics in malignancy staging
The multimedia presentations are acceptable in MS Office PowerPoint’ 97–2003 only.

Requirements for manuscript preparation
Deadline for abstract submission is January 15, 2012. The manuscripts up to 5-6 pages should be submitted in two paper copies and as electronic file (on a CD, prepared in MS Office Word, Times New Roman, font 14). The manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter, a certificate of local expertise for open publishing, a brief summary in Ukrainian and Russian (not exceeding 320 characters) and key words (up to 7). The articles will be published in Ukrainian Journal of Radiology, which is listed by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine. The publication fee is 40 hryvnas per page and 60 hryvnas per color illustration.
The manuscripts submitted after the deadline or not meeting the requirements will be rejected. The manuscripts not accepted for publication will be not returned to authors.
Registration fee is 150 hryvnas for USRO members and 200 hryvnas for other participants.

The paiments for the publishing the abstracts should be transferred to the account 2600201681207, Ukreximbank, Kharkiv, MFO 351618, OKPO 22684252 for Kharkiv Regional Charity Anticancer Foundation (Grigoriev's Institute for Medical Radiology, vul. Pushkinska 82, Kharkiv, 61024, Ukraine).
The purpose of payment must be indicated on the receipt as: “for development of the Ukrainian Journal of Radiology”
